With reference to Colonial Office letter No.

53567/38, dated 19th May, 1938, on the subject of the

training of Acting/Serjeant F. J. Anslow, Hong Kong

Volunteer Defence Corps, I am commanded by the Army Council

to forward, for the information of Mr. Secretary MacDonald,

the enclosed certificate and copy of a report which have

been received from the Commandant, Coast Artillery School,

Shoeburyness, relative to the attachment of this non-

commissioned officer during the period from 31st October

to 5th November, 1938.
